Reclassification doesn't do a fucking thing. Need to remove it from the Controlled Substances list completely.

Good. The entire situation is fucking farcical at this point.

About time. But I’ll believe it when I see it. Still won’t full legalize it. Which needs to happen. |

At this point Joe's campaign has targeted student debt relief, abortion supporters, illegal invading immagrant aliens non citizens, and cannabis users. All the while saying white people are the problem. His America I do not support or will vote for.

tiny snip from the AP article.
Schedule III drugs are still controlled substances and subject to rules and regulations, and people who traffic in them without permission could still face federal criminal prosecution. Clown speak for ‘If we can’t find any other way to bankrupt you’. |

I dont know anyone in federal prison for simple possession of cannabis. Im not sure who Biden is going to pardon unless he is talking about those trafficking, distributing, producing...

If they're making it legal, then they better tax the everloving shit out of it just like tobacco, restrict it from all public spaces, and put up the retarded warning signs everywhere it's sold.
What's good for the goose, etc. |

As soon as they do, I can go get my medical card. Been hesitant to do so because of 2a reasons.
But I'll believe it when I see it. Probably just a carrot to drive up the dem voter turnout. Will disappear until the next election. |

View Quote The Dems cannot make it "legal" in the sense it will be removed from the 4473, because anything that makes gun purchases easier is strictly verboten on the Left. They are putting themselves in a legal and political jam. All they're trying to do it get some Rs to oppose it for the upcoming election, as a wedge issue. |

You better not get a medical card if you ever want a new firearm.
4473 form asks if you're a doper. You lie on ATF paperwork and you go with the J6ers to the big house. |

A Biden administration talking point I can agree with: "Too many lives have been upended because of our failed approach to marijuana."

There's a store in my city that openly sells various THC products(edibles, some kind of smokeable buds, a variety of THC slushy drinks, etc.) and Georgia isn't even a legal-MJ state. The marquee out front today even has some joke about getting high every day. It's past time for them to quit pretending to fight this battle. |

View Quote Thats because they don't bother prosecuting you for it after they find something else to charge you with. The possession is just a stepping stone to investigate more. |

When we moved here 25 years ago, I had to drive to the next county to buy beer.
Now there's three breweries in town and a store offering pre rolls, edibles and everything in between. My quality of life remains unaffected. Lots of Gladys Kravitz's in here. |

View Quote It's hemp-derived, so it's legal at both the state and federal level. The 2018 Farm Bill changed everything. You're absolutely right: the legal landscape for THC is utterly ridiculous right now. |

Try as I might, I cannot seem to find the clause in the Constitution to allow making an indigenous plant illegal, when to outlaw booze they had to have a Constitutional amendment.
Note that I am not saying pot is good for you; I am only questioning the powers of government. |

There are thousands of people in federal prisons for simple possession?
That sounds unlikely. |

End the war on drugs and the militarization of our police departments. We need Natural Selection to occur.
