Seriously, can someone please explain to me what this is? All I found from a Google search (perhaps improperly done) is that 'On Patrol' is a long-since defunct/discontinued 'Cops'-style show, where cops' patrols are followed by camera crew in live action.
Yet, every literal week it seems this site has a new thread that goes ballistic with a new theme always titled something to this effect. What is it, what does it do, and why does it reside in GD? Someone please explain.
