There was a book called Civil war II or something like that I read parts of years ago. Among other things, one thing it predicted, was that as the US deteriorated into feuding groups based on race or whatever, was the increasing militarization of the police to deal with the ever rising tide of chaos. Well, here we are.
Stuff my kick off in the Balkans again. Things are balkanized here, maybe they'll kick off here soon. |

Will come in handy to confiscate grandads 22 and your family Bible.
I kinda want it though. |

Yep, they were seen on trailers headed towards Richmond on Lobby Day. I'm certain they were staged somewhere and ready to tread.

I love having my own government planning and preparing to kill me.
and I pay for it. |

Definitely one of those things that's initially more disturbing than comforting in my mind. However in all fairness if say there was, God forbid, a massive snackbar event, I'd probably be the first to be thankful they were prepared in advance.

Is the pod on a forklift. Would be a cool mobile deer stand.

I dont know how the driver could see where he is going without a camera system.

I’ve noticed some of the cities get nicer shit lately. Took my son to a fair in Chesapeake and the PD had an area set up to show off the mobile command center and next to it was a brand new Bearcat plus some of the swat team’s rifles in the back of it. Bearcats and Vortex Razors on JP Enterprises rifles and cobbled together suppressed SBRs.
Side note, tried to take a picture of the rifles for a discussion on here and Mr swat man got pissy about me trying to take a picture. |

Killdozer was way bigger and cooler
Rooks are just armored bobcats with rams and a variety of tools you can attach. The one in the OP picture is a mobile armored barricade/delivery platform so you can safely get into like second stories. |

Yeah last year police in Houston used it to destroy some innocent guy's house when a scumbag holed up in it instead of just waiting him out.

AFAIK the owner was screwed and left to try to find way to repair their property. These days I wouldnt be surprised if code enforcement follow up and cite them immediately starting the process to eventually try to get a slice of the property by force selling it. |

View Quote Are they going to paint "RESCUE VEHICLE" on the side of it, to pretend it's for pulling Timmy out of the well? |

I mean, let someone take your wife or kids hostage and you'd be crying like a little girl begging them to send that thing in.????? |

Active shooters you say? Is Virginia taking a page from Uvalde? Just sit back and wait- ignore the screaming children- until the killdozer arrives? To do what? Get there an hour late to the game and knock down the wall of the school to access the room?
No. This is here for some tyranny enforcement. Don't be fooled. |

Quoted: It would do very poorly. That thing is using 1/4" AR500 armor plate. For example WW2 30-06 AP will zip right through 3/4" thick AR500 armor plate. View Quote Most people won't be shooting at this thing with .30-06AP and a Garand or any rifle chambered in .30-06, most won't have anything in .50BMG. There is some slight chance that yes, in this particular area, they could run into someone with something like that, but the odds are low. |

Are those bobcats? We have one of those.
They have used it a few times, mostly barricade situations as cover and once when a guy had some broad at gunpoint in a car. |

It’s just for show. There’s no one smart enough in the VSP to drive a bulldozer.
Large, lumbering slow moving vehicle. All for show. |

Quoted: I mean, let someone take your wife or kids hostage and you'd be crying like a little girl begging them to send that thing in.????? View Quote Nah, not really. I’m good. The chance of my wife and kids being taken hostage are exceedingly, mathematically astoundingly low compared with the chance that my own government will oppress the fuck out of me, which is a 100% chance considering that it’s, you know, already doing that Nah man. Fuck that noise. |

Or a drone with gas filled beer bottles, rigged up with an electrical system to set off the storm matches right before release...for the average joe. |

That thing frightens me more than it gives me comfort, considering who .gov considers the bad guys.

Back two years ago, town I went to school at, the police wanted a Rook and it got shoot down. So last year the police chief had the Sheriff try to get the county to buy one. That got shot down quick, no one in the county saw a reason for especially with the Sheriff's department has a Bearcat that never gets used, except for photo shoots by the deputies. Local governments should just admit they want to waste money and have something to use to strip people of their rights.
