Can your wife bench press your current body weight one time using standard Olympic weights/bar?
My wife might be able to bench her body weight of 102, but certainly not mine at 165.
She’s a striker, the heaviest weight she moves is a 30lb kettle bell. |
She's stronger than most women her size but, NO.
I'm not sure if I can bench 210 pounds either. |
Your wife should not be able to press your body weight, that’s weird.
Not a chance. Although she’s fit with 6-pk abs she’s never been strong.
I can’t even bench her body weight at the moment, current bench is only 65lbs. Still taking it easy since my shoulder surgery. A bit gun shy with bench press since that’s what blew out my shoulder. |

Only if she turned into something I would not want to be married to.

You're a failure if you don't go home to this every night?! https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/473548/Jx91I93X4xLRDrl0OfgbHUpC3vMuQzRf_lg_jpg-3171626.JPG View Quote You think anybody thinks I'm a failure because I go home to Starla every night!? Forget about it. And no, she ain't putting up 180. |

For that to be the case, one or more of the following conditions needs to exist:
1) Dude is of small stature. 2) Wife is a muscular beast Either way that's a I'm a big dude, not just fat but tall. Even in the best shape of my life I was still 230. Wife is 5' 2", 125 lbs, and probably 44-26-34. No way she's gonna bench almost 2x her body weight, much less what I weigh now. |
I'm over 250 pounds; of course not.
Then again, most ARFCOMers couldn't bench that. I doubt I could, either: My max is 175. |

My old lady could not bench press half of me.
But if I pissed her off, she'd kick me for a 40 yard field goal. I don't piss off Miss JOS. No way. |
Lol no. I’m a 6’1 195 lb man. She’s a 5’6” 115 lb woman. Is this a low key tranny thread?
Nope. Not a chance. Shes 5’ tall and weighs maybe 115. Not a weight lifter.
I weigh 185. For all you dudes who can’t bench your own body weight, get out there and start lifting heavy things. I’m only a couple times a week lifter and I can rep my body weight. My 15 year old daughter can squat 200 though. |
I can't even bench my own body weight. I used to fantasize about having a guy lift me up like they do in the movies but I let go of that dream a long time ago. I've never been fat but I was really self conscious when the paramedics had to pack me out to the ambulance when I dislocated my hip. I don't weigh as much as a man my height would but growing up we had to get measured and weighed in high school. I was rail thin and everyone would go ewww when I weighed. I weighed the same as the fat girls-only I was 9" taller.

She's very fit but probably couldn't bench her own body weight. Is OP Obama's shill account? I'll bet the wookie can bench press that little cunt for sure! |
no -- she's very fit but that would be too much my guess would be -- she might be able to do ~60% for the record i can bench my weight ~6-7 reps (we're in the 50s) |

Wife is in great shape but def not. I however can overhead press her weight.
No. I weigh about 190-195. My wife can bench 160.
Some of you have seen my wife. She's not weak. |
Maybe when she was young, but not anymore. She used to be a very strong woman. After she hit her 40's that strength began rapidly declining.
Voted no because she can’t currently
My lowest weight lately was 187, which matches her best competition bench, but she’s a bodybuilder now. Think she did 170 the other day after not benching for months. With a little work she could probably get close to benching what I currently weigh |
I would not want a women who can bench 200. I go to gym and I can’t even bench that but I don’t worry what one can bench. Not sure why people are so in love with that.
