Got an individual form 4 efile approved in 45hours seen some online as fast as 19 hours.
Salad days for NFA wait times? If form 1's go that fast ill do a few more SBR's |

I got two cans in the last month. Problem now is that because of the faster F4 times it seems like everyone is buying, so finding the can you want in stock is getting difficult. I've also heard F3 times are starting to grow longer.

Fucked up for those of us who have been waiting months. Yes, I am hating on you all.

If they get trust times down, it’ll take my wallet years to recover from my weird AOW and factory SBR buying shopping spree.

I just got my bonus and poor financial decisions are about to follow

So, I’ll have to see more proof of it before I get too retarded. |

Shortest we've had at the shop is 2 days. Had some 3 and 4 day form 4 approvals too.
I'm at 6 days now...this is crap! |
|
You guys with 2 day approvals can kiss my ass. I’m happy for y’all but kiss my ass. I certified a form 4 last Thursday for my OCM5. Still no stamp.

I used a trust, sitting at about 47 days, 100 or so to go.
Considered buying another as individual to hope for batch approval, but can't find a suppressor I want in stock. |

View Quote Used to be first in first out... so if I applied 1 minute after you but you had a hold up they would not even look at mine till yours was done. Now they submit the back ground check and proceed or deny based on when the back ground check comes back no more first in first out. @Rem700PSS |

I'm really beginning to hate you guys. I'm at 344 days, today.

Im over two weeks now on one form 3 and pushing seven days on a second form 3. The system gets fast on one end, an drags on the other...

Quoted: So, what would make a BG check take months? View Quote 1) they haven't used this method for "months", so the question is kind of off 2) I have heard of 'delayed' responses taking months to get to the bottom of, and who knows what the system is between atf and fbi to check on delayed responses 3) they've stated trust will continue to be slower as they have to review the trust document, and if there are multiple responsible parties listed they have to wait for each approval |

Hoping I'll have one in that bunch. Waiting on a HuxWerx to get to my dealer.

I’m at 13 months right now. This is the second time around as they sent the first set of paperwork back after a year because of an “address mismatch.” Complete bullshit
|
|
|
Yeah, because the feds really want to make getting Class III stuff easier.
It's for the eventual reclassification of "assault weapons" on the NFA. It's literally on Biden's campaign website. Some of you guys really have no clue what's going on. |

Seems like the guys who have been waiting for months and months are still continuing to wait while more recent transfers are going through fast. |

Quoted: We know. We know the ATF is trying to look tolerable because they are getting their shit pushed in in court. The second the lawsuits end wait times will skyrocket again. Whether it’s long term or not we’ll see. They’ve been having a rough go of it in the courts. Something else we haven’t had in the past is groups like the ASA, FPC, GOA, PSA and a ton of other groups fighting against the NFA or for at the minimum at least making the process less painless. |

This is crazy. I waited 149 days for a SS single shot trust for a rugged. I'll be going balls deep as an individual the next time

2 weeks in
I wasn't really in the market for a can, but I figured I'd see how lucky I was |

Question for you guys that know.
If I submit a form(s) 4 now as an individual, and get it(them) approved quickly, can I then form a trust and transfer them over to the trust, or would I have to wait the 9 to 12 months for approval before transferring them? Getting them in my hands quickly would be a big plus, even if it took longer to transfer them, but I'd like to have everything in a trust so other family members could use them without my having to be there. Sorry if it seems like a dumb question, but I don't know what I don't know? Thanks in advance. |
|
I’ll just keep waiting . Sitting here with 3 in jail since late ‘23.
|
|
I'm at about 9 days on my f/a M16 on my trust, still waiting.
|
|
Went in last Friday, the shop emailed the stuff over Saturday mid morning and I got my approval email Tuesday at noon. I’m thinking Saturday and Sunday don’t count sooo.

Transferring it would require a new form 4 to your trust. Which would be another $200 and the average wait time for a paper form 4. While it’s submitted, you the individual can posses it. |
