I have the same gun. Where'd u get the cheek pad? I like the looks and really need something to bring my eye up to the scope. I have some hornady 300gr interlocks loaded up that I love. Even with the "small" 300gr bullets it lets you know when you pull the trigger. |

Tagged to get my jealousy level to a point that I will suffer the wrath of the Mrs. to meet my selfish need for a new lever gun

Nice, I have an sdt. If it ever comes to it, it will be the very last rifle I will sell. |

Quoted: Mine. I got a Walnut forearm for it, but I'm waiting on a backordered walnut stock, both Marlin factory pieces. Other than the green carpet, this is exactly what I want |

I would really like a Guide Gun, but ideally in .50 Alaskan.
My 45/70 is just a Handi Rifle. |

this thread is easy to masterbate to.

VERY nice!!!
I've recently been thinking about a guide gun 45-70. Would be useless to me, but a nice Magnum Research BFR would compliment it nicely! |
|
Gosh I want one of those...and for the life of me I don't know why.

Dammit, I want to kill anything in North America too! Anything that walks, with the right load. |

Can .50-70s come to this party? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v723/green_c/GUNS/216_1645.jpg That is beautiful! |
|
I've never before seen a thread with so many examples of checkering that shouldn't exist.

Nice...Marlin Guide Gun. I have 3 rifles in 45-70 one of them is a Guide Gun another is an original 1873 Trapdoor Springfield. the 3rd rifle is a Sharps Rifle |

I like this thread. I do to. ( Except for some of the checkering!) |

Mine LOVEs Federal blue box 300 grain bullets. First time I shot them I had walk down and check the target to figure out what was going on. Three shots, one ragged hole Turns out it's stupidly accurate with almost anything... |
