According to Jewish tradition, there have been only 9 red heifers sacrificed. The first by Moses and the last being by Yishmael around 15AD. Red heifer ashes were necessary for the purification rites held at the temple, many have regarded the appearance of a red heifer today as heralding the construction of the third temple and the return of Christ. In 2022, Jewish rabbis brought 5 red heifers from Texas into Israel that match Numbers 19 Laws of Purification. Numbers 19:2 This is the ordinance of the law which the Lord has commanded, saying: ‘Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring you a red heifer without blemish, in which there is no defect and on which a yoke has never come Out of the original 5, one has been disqualified. Supposedly the Temple Institute has built an alter on the Mount of Olives overlooking Temple Mount. Attached File CBS News Jerusalem — When Hamas spokesman Abu Ubaida began a speech marking the 100th day of the war in Gaza, one confounding yet eye-opening proclamation escaped the headlines. Listing the motives for the Palestinian militant group's Oct. 7 massacre in Israel, he accused Jews of "bringing red cows" to the Holy Land. The cows he was talking about are red heifers, which now graze at a secure, undisclosed location in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. Some Jews and Christians believe they're key to rebuilding the Jewish temple that once stood in Jerusalem, and to beckoning the Messiah. To understand, you have to look back almost 2,000 years in the tumultuous history of the Middle East, when the ancient Romans destroyed the last temple in Jerusalem. Many signs are pointing to the first red heifer sacrifice in about 2000 years happening this Passover. ETA: Added article. https://www.972mag.com/temple-mount-movement-jerusalem/]972mag article |

The temple won't (if ever) be rebuilt until the threshing floor is cleared. That would mean the destruction of the dome of the rock, which is Islam's second most holy site. That would cause an all out war. So maybe, but certain drastic and very bad things will have to happen first.

It's Good Friday
God the Father sacrificed His willing Son on our behalf The era of animal sacrifice is over and has been for over 2000 yrs. You wanna barbeque one up for Sunday dinner...rock on. |

Only nine so far?
Those ashes should bring a pretty shekel or two. Hand rubbing intensifies. |

Can we get someone to just go over there and throw a yoke on them right quick?

Quoted: The sacrifice has to occur on the Temple Mount. View Quote Nope. Within sight of the Temple Mount. Mount of Olives works just fine. Let’s hope the Jews get it right, there’s only supposed to be 10 of these done ever. 9 have already occurred in the last 3000 years. If they get this wrong, technically, they can’t do it again, and a lot of historical stuff unravels. Hint: they got it right and they have a spot ready for sacrifice on the MoO. Lol. I’ve sent the foundation some coin. They think the Messiah is about to return. He is, but it’s a little different than they expect… |

Note to self: pick a different time to visit Jerusalem.
I'm sure things will go very well and be peaceful. Or not peaceful. |

Danial 9:27 and Matt 24:15 are talking about the same Abomination of desolation.
For the prophesy timeline to be fulfilled, in order for the abomination to be set up, the sacrafices must begin (to be stopped). The sacrafices are a huge sign for the countdown to Matt 24:21; the great trib. |

I’m not trying to shit on anyone’s religion but do you REALLY believe this is what concerns an omniscient and omnipotent “God” of the Universe?
If I were God, I’d demand sacrifices of pedophiles, rapists, sadistic murderers and other violent criminals. Maybe thieves, too A dose of that kind of wrath and disputes between people would quickly disappear. |

Read Josephus account of how this went down the last time they tried to rebuild the temple after Christ. Things didn't go so well.

The Israelites had to come to Texas to complete their biblical duties. Go figure.

“The Red Heifer” would be a great name for a kosher steakhouse. Maybe in Austin.

View Quote It’s not anyones place to assume what concerns and doesn’t concern an omniscient and omnipotent God of the universe. What is being discussed is the fulfillment of prophecy that points to the end times. Personally I pay attention and try to be aware of current events but the most important prophecy to be fulfilled will be an individual coming to promise world peace and delivering on the promise. When that happens I’ll get my panties in a wad. |

Alas, my plans, hopes, dreams and outlook are insignificant to the master plan. |

Israel is playing a dangerous game, and forcing the sacrifice is not going to work out the way they think it will.

View Quote where IN THE BIBLE does it speak of 'red heifers'? this red cow thing has been a topic of commercial end-timers and tribulation hopefuls for a while. always looking for signs and predicting crap that jesus said no one knew. things happen when they happen. as to the desolation of abomination, there is reason to believe this has to do with the romans destroying jerusalem and tearing down (making desolate btw) the temple in 70AD. the romans after all were pagans. |

What’s stopping someone from just sacrificing a red heifer there. You could do that everyday and it may or may not be the exact time and date. Regardless I’ve lived a good life and have tried to be a good person. I will play my cards where they lay. I can’t control what happens. Will be pretty funny though if it happens and shit starts going crazy. The left who I assume for the most part do not believe in god will be shitting themselves. |

There is a significant world leader who will appear, and two guys in sack cloth who will be preaching in the streets of Jerusalem.
But the red heifer is a definite step forward. With regard to the Temple being built, during King David's time, the tabernacle was a tent. They don't have to move the mosque. The Bible says the courtyard will be trampled under the feet of the gentiles. The Temple Mount will be shared. |

There hasn't been one in 2k years. It has to be perfect. Years ago, they thought they had it, and a white spot appeared in it's fur. |

So, they think they need a 3rd temple, and in order for them to even step foot on the temple mount, they have to be ritualistically pure. Hence, they need an unblemished red heifer to sacrifice, burn and mix the ashes with water from a specific pool (which was recently excavated). |
