Am finding that out too, ICQ still serves it purpose on my puter. But I am starting to like messenger better and better.

I use ICQ, MSN, and AIM, I have Yahoo too, but I don't like it. My favorite is ICQ, because it has more features, and more people use it internationally, so you can chat with people from all over the world.

I like ICQ the best too, but I heard that it has the most security holes too.
MSN is probably little more than spyware with a built-in messanger.
As long as you don't have any script kids mad at you, ICQ should be fine.

I have also changed to messenger. ICQ is okay...but I like messenger better. ICQ has too many adds and pop ups and crap like that

Too bad AIM doesn't have more of the features as ICQ does, because ICQ is owned by AOHell, unfortunately.

AIM/Netscape Instant Messenger is also owned by AOHell. I prefer IM to ICQ because I HATE SPAM! I get spammed every day with ICQ. And NO, I don't have anything against da womenz!

I use ICQ because that's what my friends and family back east use.
OTOH, my better half uses MSN Messenger because that's what her friends and family use.
Go figure.

MSN used to have a really cool phone feature where you could make as many long distance calls as you wanted for free. They charge for the service now but it was cool while it lasted.
