Completely awesome.
So, what are you going to say if a couple of guys in dark suits show up asking "what have you heard about this?" |
|
I wonder what they would do if you just put "I think it's awesome" in that box?
|
|
I think it funny........But BATFE is not noted for thier sense of humor!

If I recall correctly, about a year ago one of our members put "For Zombies and Pigeons", and it was rejected because of the legality of hunting pigeons in that particular state. If I have the exact wording wrong, I'm sure someone will be along to correct it.

As of today, the check still hasn't been processed. I didn't send it off until a little over 2 weeks ago, and where I am in NC it should have made it to the ATF in about 2 days. Last 2 stamps I appled for the checks were processed the same week I mailed the form. Although, I haven't gotten a phone call or rejection letter yet, so I guess that's good right? I'll keep everyone posted on the progress.

Oh I totally expect it to get denied, but it figured "what the hell" cause this will be my last (well next to last cause its getting suppressed too) NFA stamp I'll get for a while. So I called the ATF NFA office in WV just to see if they got my Form since the check hasn't been processed. Lady told me they still haven't received anything with my name or trust name. Gonna call em back next week to see if they got it

Check was processed yesterday, so 90 calendar days from yesterday is January 10th I think. The countdown begins.

If I remember the Class 3 paperwork process, this pretty much means it's approved, right? It's been awhile.
All I can say is that completely rocks. |

On my last stamp, the check cleared maybe only a week after mailing it in, but somewhere around day 80 I got a call from my SOT (I of course was expecting it to be the "come and get it" call) telling me there was a problem with my trust paperwork, and I had to clear it up. So, I'm really not sure if they "approve" it and just then wait 90 days to give you permission, or if they wait 90 days after cashing the check to even look at the paperwork Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

IIf it works and you ever find yourself in Oregon (no,I have no idea why anybody would want to come to Oregon) beers on me. |

I've got a friend that lives in SoCal, and another in Western Montana, and a bro-in-law in North Dakota, so if I ever find myself driving to each of those places on the same trip, Oregon isn't too far off. I would anticipate rejection if I were you. So would I. I have heard recently of F1s being sent back for this, with examiners expressing a disinterest in such humor. You are likely looking at a delay and a redo. Also, you may be helping to work toward new administrative restrictions from ATF where forms are concerned. |

Well, I have a couple of approved Form 4's with the reason as "collection & scientific research" which is just as equally absurb. The real reason most everyone "needs" an NFA item is b/c "They're F*cking cool and I want one" and the ATF knows this. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile NFA Branch won't approve Form 1s (or 4s) that aren't legal by state law. Your Form 1 will be denied. |
