What the heck are these??

ADDED* The first is an Isreali Wildcat. Very nice. I'd like to see those in a 6x6 though. Carries 3 crewman and 8 troops. The 8 are facing forward. Lookes roomy for them. Passenger firing ports....top hatches for 2 shooters...side and rear ramp for troop deployment....modular for different missions. Awesome vehicle. Might be good for a family vehicle. I have 8 kids, 7 of them live at home. LOL

Instead of the 2 hatches in the back, for use as a Zombie vehicle, I'd like to see 2 gunner stations. Would have to be something small, maybe a SAW. Might negate the need for NBC. Or keep the hatch to retreat from a Zombie horde. It would drop the 8 man deployable fireteam to 6 man. I only saw 6 firing ports anyways. Man, this vehicle has all kinds of win for potential.

It needs caging on the doors and windshield, and some sort of ominous looking cattle-wedge/brush-guard on the front.

It's off to a great start though...

A new favorite, this one from BREMACH, out of Italy.
One thing I like in a ZRV, is to be able to stay inside, and not have to exit the vehicle to go to the living/storage spaces.

I've heard those can be hard to come by.  When they finally beat the vehicle to death, they pull the cab and compartment off the frame and drop it onto a new frame.  My understanding is that ambulances are often treated the same way.

Not a good idea trust me I know I drove and rode in the back of them for awhile. The new ones have tons of mechanical issues for the first 40k. Older Models are beat to shit, and welds tend to crack within 5-8 years. While parts are plentiful they are a nightmare to work on. Suspensions need constant attention, as do heat and AC, electronic issues galore especially the electronic solenoids for the door locks. The door from the drivers compartment to the rear will be welded shut or there will be no door at all on newer models, so you have exit the truck to enter the rear door. Again this requires someone to flip a switch, so the truck is a two person vehicle. Multiple keys for every door makes it time consuming to enter the truck, break a key and your up shits creek. The trucks balance horribly and have a tendency to tip over, trust me it's work just to keep the damn thing on the road. These are some of the reasons why a armored truck would be a lousy zombie vehicle. Unless you have a ton of time, tools, and have diesel mechanic training and welding, and a ton of spare parts and wire.

Ambulances tend to have some or all equipment stripped when they are retired and surplussed out, but I've never seen a reused body.  I'd bet that it's the same with armored trucks - they would be stripped of anything company specific then sold.  Lost of the smaller regional companies have used vehicles.

These guys make some awesome stuff. Can't wait to see the "Raven". Aybody know what the "Peeler" does?

These would be great for combat, but I think the armor is way overkill for Zeds. Like the idea of the Ford chassis, lots of spares available.

True the armor kills off road capability and isnt needed for Zs, but I alos like the ford chasis for the same reason
