Well, the main characters in both the TV show and the new movie (played by Denzel Washington) are both named Robert McCall.

I like Denzell. I like one-man army vigilante movies. I'll watch it. And the new Liam Neeson film as well.

Saw this today. I can't stand Denzel, but this movie was pretty good. A bit far fetched as to be expected, but he didn't come off as arrogant as usual.

It was pretty decent but there were a few bothersome things.
Like when Robert ask the guy " Is that a Heckler And Cock?" 
Or when the one Russian assassin turns on his night vision scope and it makes a zwwwerrr sound.

Liked it a lot and have been a fan of both Denzel and Antoine Fuqua since Training Day. The finale was surprising, in a good way.
And... how many movies is Dan Bilzerian going to be in? |

Just got back from seeing it. The whole movie kept me entertained from start to finish. I'd see it again.

The wife and I saw this movie on Sunday. We were entertained. I can't say that it was unpredictable. But I always love me a great "revenge" flick and this movie KILLED movies like "The Punisher" for that. I give it a hearty thumbs-up!!!

I need to check it out. I really enjoyed the TV show and am having a hard time with Denzel in that role but oh well. Gotta love a good revenge flick.

Really enjoyed this one. Little bit far fetched, of course, but if you like brutal revenge movies this is the one to see.

Saw it last night. Lots of far-fetched scenes of course, but overall it was decent and mostly good entertainment.
