The first Seal of the Scroll

The Revelation of Jesus Christ that God gave Him to show His slaves (or for a state of higher understanding through God's prophets) what must come quickly (or very soon) and take place.

He sent it and signified it through His (chief) angel to His slave (prophet) John,(of Patmos; in the place of God's final revelation to mankind (the *Anointed Prophet after John the Baptist and the prophet Elisha; The One Whom Jesus Loved: A Disciple) who testified to God's word and to the testimony about Jesus Christ, in all he saw (or as God's seer).

Blessed is the one who reads and blessed are those who hear the words of this prophesy and keep (endeavor to understand) what is written in it, because the time is near!

Revelation 1: 1-3

Then I looked, and heard the voice (or voices in unison which causes great reverberation within the heavens) of many angels around the throne, and also of the living creatures, and of the elders (gods who were once human beings upon the earth in service to YHWH as His slaves).

There number was countless thousands, plus thousands and thousands.

They said with a loud voice:

to receive power and riches

and honor and glory
and blessing!

I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them say:

The four living creatures (or the four living creatures who represent the four basic types of peoples who live on the earth) said, "Amen," and the elders fell down and worshiped.

Prologue

And I saw a beast come up out of the sea. He had 10 horns and seven heads. On his horns were seven diadems, and on his heads were blasphemous names (or on his head was a blasphemous name: I AM). The beast I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like a bear's, and his mouth was like a lion's mouth.

The dragon (or the flying serpent) gave him his power, his throne (or his place of authority), and great (or supernatural) authority.

One of his heads (or branches of power) appeared to be fatally wounded (Lit to be slain to death or killed or intervened through supernatural means), but his fatal wound was healed (or his loss of authority was shored and then strengthened again).

The whole world was amazed and followed the beast (Lit amazed after the beast) They (also) worshiped the dragon (his star in the heavens rising) because he gave authority to the beast.

And they worshiped the beast saying, "Who is like the beast (or anti-Christ or "Octavian")?

Who is able to wage war against him?"

Revelation 13: 1-5

The Beast from the Sea (or international world coalition)

Then I saw another beast (or spiritual image) coming up out of the earth; he had two horns like a lamb (or ram), but he sounded (or was sensed to be) like a dragon. He exercises all the authority of the first beast on His behalf and compels (or forces at the point of not being able to buy, sell, or trade) the earth and all who live on it to worship (or pay homage and tribute) the first beast, whose fatal wound (or lose of authority now restored by force, in places where it was designated to rule previously) .

He also performs great signs, even causing fire (or his own fire; possibly a terrible weapon) to come down out of heaven to earth before (or as a display and or; to cause people to perish) people. He deceives those who live on the earth because of the signs that he is permitted to perform on behalf of the beast, telling those who live on the earth to make an image (or to receive an image on their hand, or in their forehead) of the beast who had the sword wound yet lived.

He was permitted to give a spirit (or give breath or give life) to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast could both speak and cause whoever would nor worship the image of the beast to be killed (or mainly those who have accepted the Messiah as Savior in those days: MARTYRS).

And he requires everyone-------small and great, rich and poor, free and slave-------to be given a mark (or stamp, or brand) on his right hand or his forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he (Lit they; or she) has (possesses under their skin) the mark: the beast's name (or name which blasphemes God) or the number of his name (or the number of his name which is inside all who take the mark under their skin)

Here is wisdom (or here is what calls for spiritual wisdom): The one who has understanding must calculate (or count or figure out) the number of the beast, because it is the number of a man (or a sequential set of running numbers running through all of the marks at all times of the ones who worship the beast and have received the number of his name).

His number is 666 (One Gk ms plus other ancient evidence read 616; the number of his name).

Revelation 13: 11-18

The Beast from the Sea (or the international world coalition)

Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me: "Come I will show you the judgment of the notorious prostitute (the international banking system) who sits on many waters. The kings (or leadership) committed sexual immorality (or turned over freedom with their countries and sovereignty to them) with her, and those who live on the earth became drunk (or in a state of great power through bribes which are astronomical by their own accounts) of her sexual immorality."

So he carried me away in the Spirit to a desert. I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast (or the abomination which desolates) that was covered with blasphemous names (or a blasphemous action and heresy by using the Name of God to identify itself: YHWH ), having seven heads (or seven rotating leaders) and ten horns (or ten worldwide blocks or regions of land to be in tight or oppressive control over).

The woman (1st World Church) was dresses in purple and scarlet (or the colors of exclusive royalty), adorned with gold, precious stones, and peals (or her wealth was staggering). She had a gold cup in her hand filled with everything vile and with the impurities of her prostitution (or anti-Christian agenda away from God and to spiritually and then physically enslave her congregation).

On her forehead a cryptic name was written:

BABYLON THE GREAT THE MOTHER OF ALL PROSTITUTES AND OF THE VILE THINGS OF THE EARTH

Then I saw that the woman was drunk on the blood of the saints (or as to usurp over God and His prophets) and on the blood of the witnesses to Jesus,

When I saw her, I was utterly astounded (or was utterly astounded because of her likeness to the mother of God).

Revelation 17: 1-6

The Woman and the Scarlet Beast

Then I was given a measuring reed like a rod (other mss add and the angel stood up) with these words: " Go (Lit Arise) and measure God's sanctuary and the alter, and count those who worship there (or have remained in a state of eternal worship there). But exclude the courtyard outside the sanctuary (or the place of the gentile worshippers). Don't measure it (or don't measure it as to set it apart), because it is given to the nations, (or gentiles, or the non-Jewish peoples) and they will trample (or inundate) the city for forty-two months.

I will empower my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for one thousand, two hundred and sixty days, dressed in sackcloth (or mourning garment of coarse, often black thick material). These are the two olive trees (or the finest of God's prophets in the earth at any time) and the two lampstands (or watchmen on the tower of God's plan to proceed with the nations; a different kind of prophet; Military Messengers) that stand (or stand at attention continually) before that Lord (or Messiah or Savior) of the earth.

If anyone wants to hurt them, fire comes out of there mouths ( or calamity; or a band of deadly messengers; firing on as to consume; because of the word of their testimonies which comes forth from their mouths from; concerning; Messiah) and consumes their enemies; if anyone wants to harm them, he (or she) must be killed in this way.

These men have the power to shut up the sky so that it does rain during the days of their prophecy.

They also have the power over the waters to turn them into blood (or waters into poisons; the taste of heavy iron), and to strike the earth with any plague that they want (or incurable diseases of the skin, eyes, and stomach).

Revelation 11: 1-6

The Two Witnesses

"To the angel of the church in Sardis write: "The One who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars says: I know your works; you have a reputation for being alive, but you are dead. Be alert and strengthen what remains, which is about to die, for I have not found your works complete before My God.

Remember therefore what you have received and heard; keep it and repent. But if you are not alert, I will come (other mss add upon you) like a thief, and you will have no idea  at what hour that I will come against you (or upon you). But you have a few people in Sardis who have not defiled their clothes (or drenched themselves in the iniquity of the world), and they will walk with Me in white. because they are worthy (or because the Lamb of God is worthy).

In the same way, the victor will be dressed in white clothes, and I will never erase his name (or his new name) from the book of life (or Lamb's Book of Life), but will acknowledge his name (or his old name) before My Father and before His angels.

"To the angel of the church in Pergamum write:

" The One who has the sharp, two edged sword (or word of God within) says: I know where you live------where Satan's throne is! And you are holding on to My name and did not deny your faith in Me, even in the days of Antipas, My faithful witness, who was killed among you, where Satan lives (or in the hearts of wicked leaders).

But I have a few things against you.

You have some there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to place a stumbling block (or to place a trap) in front of the sons of Israel: to eat meat sacrificed to idols (to engage into things which are unclean and a abomination before God to practice; counterfeit actions against God) and to commit sexual immorality (or to commit unauthorized uncleanliness through fornication;

In the same way, you also have those who hold to the teachings of the Nicolaitans (other mss add which I hate). Therefore repent! Otherwise,  will come to you quickly and fight against them with the sword of My mouth (or fight against them through the word of My testimony: [The Lord's declaration]).

Anyone who has an ear (or the ear) should listen to what the Spirit says to the churches, I will give the victor some of the hidden manna (or allow for that one to eat where the manna is stored).

I will give him a white stone (or eternal memorial made of pure incorruptible stone) and on the stone a new name is inscribed that no one knows except the one who receives it (or the names of YHWH to come).

The Letter To Pergamum

"To the church in Thyatira write:

The Son of God, The One whose eyes are like a fiery flame, and whose feet are like fine bronze says: I know your works------your love, faithfulness, service, and endurance. Your last works are greater than the first. But I have this against you: you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and teaches and deceives My slaves to commit sexual immorality (or her fornication) and to eat meat sacrificed to idols (raw unclean meat sacrificed on the abdominal alters of Baal).


I gave her time to repent (for your sakes), but she does not want to repent (or stands unrepentant on many waters) of her sexual immorality (or enmity towards the God of heaven in every place where she is known and has influence).

Look!

I will throw her into a sickbed (or war with her so as to decimate her with her own deceit and wrongdoing), those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation (or into a great world-wide upheaval of powers), unless they repent (but they won't) of her (or their) practices (Lit unending fornications). I will kill her children (or followers) with the plague.

Then all of the churches (or My vineyard) will know that I am (or I Am Creating God) the One who examines (impurities or flaxes) minds and hearts, and I will give to each of you according to your works (or your works through the testing of the forge).

I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, who do not hold (or abide) onto this teaching (instruction), who haven't know the deep things (Lit secret things) of Satan------as they say------I do not put any other burden on you. But hold on to what you have until I come. The victor is the one who keeps my words to the end: I will give him authority (or the authority to act as judge) over the nations (or over nations and with cause)------

And He will Shepard (or will mount His horse to protect His slaves) them with an iron scepter (or with the iron rod which violently shatters the clay vessel); He will shatter them like pottery (or shatter into oblivion)-------

just as I have received this from My father. I will also give him (or her) the morning star (or my name(s) from the eternal places; Celestials)."

I wish that you were either cold or hot (or wish that you all would be committed, but then some not).

Because you say, 'I'm rich; I have become wealthy, and need nothing,' and you don't know (or you don't know because you have not received instruction) that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked, I have advised you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire (or have advised your consciences concerning the Holy Spirit coming to live within you) so that you may be rich (or be rich in God's wisdom which makes all possible and with more), and white clothes so that you may be dressed (or dressed fully and completely lacking not one good thing) and your shameful nakedness not be exposed, and ointment to spread across your eyes that you can see.

As many as I love, I will rebuke and discipline (or slightly discipline with the rod of grace to the creation).

So be committed and repent.

Listen!

I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice [The Lord's Declaration Now] and opens the door, I will come into him and have dinner (or be committed to have the ultimate fellowship) with him, and he with Me.

The victor: I will give him the right to sit with Me on My throne (or will sit on a throne of honor and glory at the prescribed times of the festival worships), just as I also won the victory and sat down with My Father on His throne.

I will make those from the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews and are not, but are lying------note this------I will make them come and bow down and worship at your feet, and they will know that I have loved you.

The victor: I will make him a pillar in the sanctuary (or God will make him a showplace; Lit place of showing off; within the sanctuary) of My God (or Jesus here refering to "My God" as His Father who is in heaven), and he will never go out again (or he will remain with One Beloved always).

I will write on him the Name of My God (or One of the names YHWH), and the name of the city of My God------the New Jerusalem,-------which comes down out of heaven from My God---------and My new Name.

Anyone who has an ear (or anyone who has an ear which can spiritually discern things) should listen to what the Spirit has to say to the churches.

Then I saw an angel (or military angel) coming down from heaven with the key to the abyss (or that place of holding and torment located in the inner earth) and with a great chain in his hand (or with great authority over the abyss or portal into and out of hell for demon spirits to be incarcerated by).

He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent who is the Devil and Satan (or for at this time Satan will stand alone with no following) and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the abyss (or into the abyss completely into hell), closed it (or by God's authority that He had given and commanded the angel with to lock Satan away and bind him), and put a seal on (or over it) so that he would no longer deceive the nations until the thousand years were completed.

After that, he must be released for a short time (or an estimated one or more generations to deceive men additionally according to God's plan).

A third of the human race was killed by these three plagues (or biological and chemical attacks all progressively worse than the preceding one)--------by the fire, the smoke, and the sulfur that came out of their mouths.

They came to life (or came back to life in glorified bodies of incorruption by God's command) and reigned with the Messiah for one thousand years (or will reign with Messiah as the administrator and the judge forever). The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! The second death has no power (or authority) over these, but they will be priests of God and Messiah, and they will reign with Him for one thousand years.

Then when the one thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison and will go about to deceive the nations at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle. Their number is like the sand of the sea. They came over the surface of the earth and surrounded  the encampment of the saints, the beloved city. Then fire came down out of heaven (Lit from the strong arm of the Lord) and consumed them.

So he carried me away in the Spirit to the desert (or a desert place in the spirit of what I was about to see). I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names, having seven heads, and ten horns. The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, adorned with gold, precious stones, and very expensive pearls.

She had a gold cup in her hand filled with everything vile and with the impurities of her prostitution. On her forehead a cryptic name (or inscription on her forehead) was written:

BABYLON THE GREAT THE MOTHER OF ALL HARLOTS AND OF THE VILE THINGS OF THE EARTH

Then I saw that the woman was drunk on the blood of the saints (or mentally intoxicated on the thoughts of seeing the murders of the saints by the beast's authority and direction) and on the blood of the witnesses of Jesus. And when I saw here I was utterly astounded (or was utterly astounded that she bore a remarkable resemblance of the Mother of God)

The revelation of Jesus Christ that God gave him to show His slaves (Or that God gave him to show God's servants) about what must come quickly (or soon) and take place. He sent it and signified it through His angel (or sent it through His divine harbinger) to His servant (or long time servant) John, who testified concerning God's word and according to the testimony about Jesus Christ, in all that he saw. Blessed is the one who reads and blessed (or blessed are those who are to receive the advantages) are those who hear the words of this prophecy and then keep what is written in it, because the time is near (or because the time grows short concerning the return of Messiah Jesus Christ)!

After this I looked, and there in heaven was an open door. The first voice that I heard speaking to me was like a trumpet (or was the voice of a harbinger or declaring angel) said, ''Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this." Immediately I was in the Spirit (Lit I became in the Spirit or in spirit) and there in heaven (or there in the kingdom of God) a throne was placed. One (or the entirety of God or Godhead) was seated on the throne, and the One who was seated on the throne looked like a jasper and carnelian stone (or a translucent red stone or the Lamb who was slain to receive the Power* over all living things). A rainbow that looked like an emerald surrounded the throne (or the perfect white light which emulates from the throne shone by the Eternal God).

Around that throne were twenty-four thrones, and on those thrones sat twenty-four elders dressed in white clothes with gold crowns upon their heads. From the throne (or from the throne of God) came flashes of lightning, rumblings and thunder. Burning before the throne were seven fiery torches, which are the seven spirits of God. Also before the throne (or the oracles and their meanings), was something like a sea of glass, similar to crystal. In the middle (Lit in the middle of the throne) and all around the throne were four living creatures covered with eyes (or the exact representations concerning the forces of God's ability to see, examine, and gauge all things for His glory.) in front and in the back (or in the beginning and to its completion concerning all of the singular and collective events of the creative process to unfold in eternity).

The first living creature was like a lion (or concerning God constantly displaying the tenacity and willingness to battle for justice through judgment for righteousness sake; to vanquish the adversary); the second living creature like a calf (or God's willingness to sacrifice only the choicest and most costly of Himself for God's people in the world); the third had a face of a man (or representative of the Son of Man who is that supreme sacrifice); and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle (or what is a living representation for God to eternally parent, heal, and protect all of the creation who are called by the Name by and through the eternal electoral process borne of the One).

Each of the four living creatures had six wings (or who are the highest order of angels); they were covered with eyes all around and inside (or the power of The Lord God of Hosts is omnipresent and full upon them in the eternal realm showing the essence of the Power*). Day and night they never stop (or never rest) saying:

Holy, holy, holy (other mss read holy nine times),
Lord God, the Almighty,
who was, who is,
and who is coming.

Another angel (or another spiritual entity other than Messiah for there are many ever present in the kingdom of God) came out of the sanctuary, exclaiming with a loud voice to the One who was seated on the cloud (or the One who was seated on the power of His own glory), " Use your sickle and reap, for the time to reap has come, since the harvest of the earth is ripe."

So the One (or Messiah through Jesus Christ) seated on the cloud swung His sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.
