Past or present.  I will start:

My Cayman S.

3.4 flat 6 making about 295HP.  4 valves per cylinder with VVT and sequentail EFI.

Getting exhaust and plenum upgrade along with computer flash tomorrow.

6 speed manual.

Michelin Pilot Super Sports, of course.

Cayman S and Anniversary Edition RX7 Turbo II

The RX7 is a 1.3 liter rotary with a turbo with 5 speed manual and Bridgestone Potentzas.  These pics are at a couple of turns at Roebling Road near Savannah.

My 1988 Mazda 929:
3.0 liter 3 valve V6, 5 speed manual.  Bridgestone Potenzas.

And from my long distant past, me and my 1954 Packard Hearse.  3 on the tree with a manual OD.  400 cubic inch straight 8 flathead.  Damn tank.

Picture taken with a Polaroid about 1967 in Clarkston, GA.

No, I didn't paint the critters on it, the old guy I bought it from had done that and I was just a poor kid back then and could not afford to repaint it.

Late 70s or early 80s Camaro with a mid 70s front clip?

It was just a normal ole 75 Camaro with a 350 and auto tranny.   Not sure why you think the body is late 70's or early 80's.  I think they only made that body until 81 maybe????  Now I forget.  You got me curious.  LOL.

Yeah, I forgot that the 75-77 had the wrap around rear window. I was thinkin they didn't come out until the rubber bumper era (78-81).

I've gone from a 660WHP built motor E88 (I'm wearing my seatbelt, the light is due to the DME not recognizing a four point harness (interior was stripped)

To a 340AWHP C43 AMG

Now to a 265WHP Acura TLX...Grad school tuition is not cheap, hence the downgrades

ETA: Hats off to all the P-Car owners in this thread. Truly, truly special cars.

Those 4Gs were fun motors/platforms...One of these days I'll dump money into one of those overbuilt JDM motors. A 26DETT would be badass.

F u

Just f u.

Had the chance to buy one back in '09.  It would have been the most amazing car guy car, but I wasn't a real car guy then.  I was in the New York City commercial real estate market then and inage mattered and so I .... Leased the new Maxima instead.  Same overall price too.  Grown up married father of four me is still beating the shit out of single idiot me over that.
The Maxima did it's job well, but I paid through the nose for it.

Regarding all the mustangs here, hot damn has that become a good looking high performance sports car.  You know growing up how we all looked at the back of road and track magazine and I don't know about you, but i would always try and find the quickest 0 to 60 time for the best price....  Nothing even comes close to the mustang GT these days.  (Kia stinger GT is a hair slower 0-60 but hardly comparable overall.)  With the new automatic and the v8, hot damn is that a value.

Let's daydream here. What options do you absolutely have to add to the base car?

Thanks! Shes a slow work in progress. Some small power adders and a few cosmetics is what shes got for the moment. In the next year or so it will be getting forced induction, better suspension, built driveline, and a few other things. The goal is to beat a hellcat.

Thanks man.

There is thread on here somewhere in GD, when I painted the car 9 years ago. Nothing fancy under the hood, just a mild Dart Little M 406.

I was talking about the Vega Wagon.  But the Camaro is freaking nice too!!!!  I have to admit, I grew up a Chevy guy and thought I knew a decent amount about Chevys.  But I've never heard a chevy engine being referred to as a little Dart 406.  Must be a racing thing.....  It looks like a small block with huge valve covers.....  And some funky headers.  I do recall there being a small block 400, but not overly common.  And I thought I remember it being more of a truck engine.  Maybe it's one like that bored over a bit?

It's beautiful.  But do you have a pic of what's in your Vega?  I was hoping for a souped up cosworth 4 but  I'm guessing it's a small block.

Ah, lol. My bad. A “Little M” is an aftermarket block produced by Dart. Their big block is called a “Big M”. Just much stronger block for big cubic inch applications. 427ci and 454 ci sbc’s are common these days thanks to aftermarket blocks. The little M is available with either 350 or 400 mains. Mine is the 400 version, so it still has tons to give in the way of rebuild life. The Vega is my street strip car that I built 10 years ago. Been driving it to the strip and racing it ever since. Nothing too special here either...Crate GM 350 Vortec short block, mild cam, TH400, ford” w/3.90 gears. Just a fun, dependable, and consistent 12 second car.

Thank you for the explanation and that Vega is HOT.  I'm very jealous.  LOL.  I love the Vega wagons and Vegas in general.  Well, how they look.  My Uncle had one.  I know the original 4's left something to be desired.  I think in the dependability department.  From what I understand.
