Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Ranges Near West Plains?

I'm planning to move to the West Plains general area in the next year. I'd like to get acquainted with other shooters in the area. Are there any decent gun clubs or ranges in the area? I'm mostly a pistol and rifle shooter- not too much trap and skeet.

Big Piney at Houston is the only club I know about.

Check the Dept of Conservation web site for information about whether the nearby Conservation Areas have ranges.

I see a range at White Ranch South of West Plains.  There are a couple of others not terribly far away.

Those are the MDC Ranges in Howell County and the surrounding counties
