Hey guys!

Killer project truck here. Or, parts as is..

I’m located in San Diego’s only failed coal mine town, Potrero.

This was pulled from my neighbors yard at the family’s request when the owner passed. I had no real idea of what to do with it other than place it as lawn art.

Story goes; he bought it at a military auction in the 70s for work purposes, drove it a bit, then let it sit. There was no title when it made its way to me.

The cab itself is virtually cancer free other than moderate patina. No significant dents, killer original USMC Od green paint.

All gingerbread is there. All windows, trim and mirrors in tact.

The engine is trashed. However, being an anemic straight 6, it’s not worth keeping anyway. PLENTY of room for an LS swap etc.

I kept any and all original parts I could find.

This year(as opposed to previous) has a swept back body line(not trailing downward), so it will better match whatever bed you choose.

Killer 3 piece wheels, FAT pumpkin, and enough bed length for a tiny house lol.

The only standing issue looks wise, is the hood which is dented, has some rust holes, and needs work on its hinge.

The cab alone should be a killer template for a rat rod. Huge wheel wells, and IMO, the right look.
