My friend and I went shooting yesterday and he pulled out some Romanian  underfolder. The stock didn't go straight back, it was locked in almost a 45° angle. Looking at some videos and pictures, that didn't look normal. I damn near had to have the stock on my chest in order to even see the sights.
Anyone else have am issue like this? How can you fix it? Was it just not opened all the way?

I personally do not own any underfolders, only fixed stock AKs. This was my 1st experience ever with one.

A picture would help. I can post it for you if you can't figure it out.

The Romanian under folders do angle down quite a bit.

Were the dogs locked in the slot under the sling swivel? Because on a Romanian there is only one place they can go on the stock arms, or it’s not locked in properly.
