Noticed today at a news conference that the moron who is currently the Mayor or NYC said that a "weaponized hatchet" was used in the attack on the officer.
Where do they get these people? I searched, shouldn't be a Dupe |

How can I weaponize my hatchet? Eotech? Magpul? High Capacity Blade? Vertical Foregrip? I want to know.

Did it have a high capacity blade or something like that? Those are the most dangerous.
ETA: beaten by a few seconds... |

Ban military-style hatchets...
Only the military and law enforcement should have them.

The mayor of New York should be arrested for attacking the public with weaponized retardation and fear mongering.

It probably had a bayonet lug, flash suppressor, and collapsable stock attached.

They took a page out of the Schick notebook and gave it multiple blades, transforming it into a high-capacity hatchet.

He must have used a Sharpmaker first then a series of Japanese water stones....uber deadly.

They have more thrust per chop.
If it had been NY compliant it would have a 10 hack capacity but you could only take 7. |

Quoted: It's not an "assault hatchet"? View Quote They should really do something about these things, why would anybody ever need a hatchet with a handle less than 24" long? No sportsman would ever use such a hatchet. |

What they need to do is ban hatchets over a certain length and capable of more than a certain number of swings per minute. Just image the damage this guy could have done with a long hatchet or "axe". And a fully automatic hatchet or "chainsaw" could murder hundreds of people with virtually no effort by the wielder. It would be a massacre. |

Please point out the difference between this 'weaponized' hatchet and a regular hatchet. Oh! So, the person is the weapon? Ta-Da! |
