Kyle Lamb wrote one of the most comprehensive books available on this:
Green Eyes & Black Rifles: The Warriors Guide to the Combat Carbine

He also has several DVDs with drills:

... but I would like to ad Gabriel Suares' book on the carbine as well.

... also the new military manual FM 3-22.9 because it covers a lot of general information that you'll be trying to figure out while you're working on skills for the other 2 books.

Between those 3 books and the videos you have a lot of learning to do before you need anything else.

Green Eyes Black Rifles is definitely your go to.  I wish this was the general training method for all military and police shooters.  It's much more biased towards combat shooting than target shooting.
