I don't think it's that much paperwork and can be done by the homeowner but it doesn't cost anything to have them grieve it. I used Lewis a couple times and iirc they took half of the annual tax reduction they secured.
Both times I used them it was reduced, a couple hundred once and a couple thousand the second time.

I used Mark Lewis 6 times in St James.
I won five out of six. My taxes were reduced from $13,800 to $11,300. I won the last time I grieved and my buyer has to reimburse me $300 at closing. That was on a 1,650 sq foot ranch on a 1/2 acre with a pool. |

I used Levin the first time, then a local attorney/ realtor.
Every two years for I think 5 times now. Every time denied, and granted on appeal. |
