Sometimes anything you can do to send a clear "fuck-you" to those who would oppress is worth the cost.
Sans the autoloading feature, it should be everything any ar-10 would be.

One of these days I'll get around to putting together the straight pull no gas Mega Maten build that I had custom machined by an Arfcommer in Florida.
I've been meaning to get to it for a HTF thread, but just haven't motivated. |

Little to rich for my blood. I would rather get a cheap complete upper and weld the gas port shut. Edit: wrong one. |

So one of these uppers can go on an unregistered complete lower and be compliant As long as I'm using 10 rd mags loaded to only 7 rds correct?

But is that how law enforcement works in NY? Question of the day. Also, to be on the safe side, you better have your unregistered semi-upper (if applicable) about 38 zip codes away from that lower. Your question is one that would not even need to be asked if we lived in a sane place where the law is clear and compliance is obvious, as in most free part of America. |

 That's a lot of money for a bolt upper. BCM Ambi CH + removal of gas tube + flip around gas block (to cover port) will be similar. |

It's no easier to modify back to semi than it is to put a tapco stock on a 10/22 to make it illegal.  |
