You think NY cares about OH rules, laws, and regulations? Those don't mean shit in that state.
Use common sense. Don't take your AR to NY. If you have to be told why, then you probably shouldn't be around firearms in the first place. |

Or go deer hunting in VT. Don't mess around with ARs (and pistols too) in NY and Mass. Their laws are completely F'd. Even California's are kinder to out of staters.

I am pretty certain you cannot hunt deer in NY with any centerfire rifle chambered for a round under 6mm.
And if you want to take an AR 15 type rifle into or through NY, you can replace the mag release with a t-nut and washer. You can lock in the mag for the time being and load through the top. |

If it is semiauto, make sure it doesn't have a pistol grip, collapsible stock, or threaded bbl. If it has any of those features, make sure it isn't semiauto. FUAC. |
