Nice. We REALLY need every single NY gun owner to get off their asses grab their friends and family and vote. It will be close, very close imo. An above average R turnout is also crucial. |

Either he really is in deep or the Daily Kos is just trying to make the lefties nervous. Think about it, right now Astorinos supporters have the motivational edge, we're pissed, determined to vote, and get others like us to the polls. The last thing the loons over at Daily Kos want is complacency on the left, people not going to vote because "it's a sure thing Cuomo will win" and FUAC getting his ass handed to him.

That appears to be a "diary," which is a type of article that any registered Daily Kos reader can post.
This does not appear to be the position of the Daily Kos or any of its regular writers/staffers. Just look at the comments section. They flat out call the author a troll.

That said, as I said before, I am cautiously optimistic...lots of hatred for this guy out there, off election year, fired up gunowners....it can be done if everyone stays motivated, and really work to get out the vote.... |

Got a friend of mine lives next door, that I shoot with, to register to vote, and join the 2nd Amendment foundation.
He just got into shooting a couple of years ago, and would complain about everything that is wrong with the SAFE act, govt,...........ect, but never did anything to try and help change it. He did this every time we go shooting which is just about every weekend. He can be very negative most of the time with his bitching. I finally got tired of it, and told him one evening to STFU and talk about something positive for once  You know how it can get with people. I told him he was just preaching to the core.
He answered with " Well someone has to do something about it" I asked him "What exactly have you done?" Told him of all the organizations I belong to, and donate to, the rallys I went to, ect....... He couldn't answer, and I said "I thought so  "
He met me outside the other day and showed me the papers. |

I did and didn't hear anything until I think last month when there was a meeting I could not attend due to a scheduling conflict. You can still go work the phones though |
