The captain of the boat wants us there by 5:00am. That means we leave my house by 0430. 0430 hrs. Fuck me. For fishing? I don't get up that early unless I can shoot something. Well, bring a gun, you never know.... |

Is boat etiquette no glass cans only? Capt. Eddie didn't specify, but I think cans would be better. The weather is looking good! This looks like a good day. Is .357 mag the appropriate round for aggressive lake trout? |

357 with lots of speed loaders - I think a 45 would be better.

It was a bit of a slow day on the water, but I couldn't have spent my day with a better group of guys.
More to follow. |

AAR:
Caught a few fish. They taste good. Mennonites love charter fishing. Kids from Fulton engage in seagull fighta on the hood of cars using french fries as bait. ChickyDawg Balla is the greatest name for an aspiring rapper. I'm sorry for making fun of Bud Light Lime - it's delicious Thanks for organizing and hosting 41mag. |

It was great! and I was good-to-go until five minutes after walking through the door at home and thinking "hey, I'll just take a little cat-nap".......4 hour later here I am.
Best part is everybody went home with some very fresh fish. |

A slow day on the water is better than a fast day at work, next time I will be sure to eat breakfast so we can do some chummin I did the same thing fp, just woke up myself. Other than a little sea sickness it was a good day, nice to have meet some of you guys finally, look forward to the next arfcom gathering. Thanks 41mag...

So I think its safe to say you didn't trump me at all
sorry the fishing was slow though, my buddy told me most the charter guys are having a tough year, the lake is all fucked up and if it wasn't for the "other" fish, browns and lakes they would be hitting nothing. It will be interesting to see when the main run of fish happens this year EDIT: to give you an idea read this if you want, http://www.lakeontariounited.com/fishing-hunting/topic/46263-kingswhats-up-this-year/ |

Penrod has most of the pictures. Here's one of the sexiest HTF member....holding the fish cliser to the camera to make it look bigger. http://i1367.photobucket.com/albums/r796/highspeedforlife/2014-08-09073405_zps4e4353e8.png Fp I have one of you - want me to post it? Adirondack1 and the fish he caught were both cold blooded - he didn't take the winter hat off until he was nice and warm and ready to catch this beauty: http://i696.photobucket.com/albums/vv330/penrod72/689ea74cd4b69ef6a81edb94d2395db6.jpg View Quote Pretty well right, 'ecpt I'm FP1201 and Adirondack1 is Wade (who wasn't able to make it) the second guy from the left in the group picture is cldsnwch. Again, thanks to Rob it was a very good time even if I did sorta freak them out about watching the night sky with NVG's. http://www.coasttocoastam.com/article/night-vision-ufos Oh, and BTW: I really wasn't all that cold, the dermatologist very strongly suggested that I reduce the amount of exposure I get to the sun. |

Nobody wanted Ciraxis to feel bad about not making it, so buckshot fought our only salmon of the day, and let him go nicely before he got into the boat.
