So what if you put a flashlight, scope, laser etc. on a handgun and it weighs over 50oz?

Do accessories count?

The law reads "MANUFACTURED weight of 50oz or more..."

My understanding was "take it out of the box as it would arrive from the factory. If over 50oz, YOU SHALL NOT PASS."

Hence the horribly dangerous Ruger Charger was a non-starter, at a dry weight of 53oz or so. Now they're discontinued unobtainium and I may end up just building my own.
