Does anyone remember Jack Junkies on Plano Pkwy? It was a DIY auto repair business, you could rent a bay, use the lift, and they also rented out tools and provided technical advice. It closed sometime in 2014 and I was wondering if another similar business has opened to fill the void.

Yeah there's one in Denton.  I used it about 3 years ago to do the headstuds on my truck.  Their not cheap, but not terribly pricey either. Shops run down a little and if you have to borrow tools they won't have anything past basic hand tools.

Thanks all...

I've known about the one in Denton.  It's just too far for me.  I was hoping that Jack Junkies had indeed relocated, but it looks like they just shut down and went dark.

BTW, there is a place at 75 and Parker in Plano called Fix and Go.  It's not a DIY place.  It's a full service Porsche garage.
