Has anyone heard about this new gun range or signed up as new members?  They're opening up a facility in Mesquite and are affiliated with Fusion over in Forney.  They have a booth at Market Hall this weekend selling memberships so I'd imagine they will be getting some interested parties.

The representative claim the facility will have a 600 yard rifle range, tactical bays, trap/skeet, plus other amenities with very lax rules which will permit tactical shooting up to full auto.  You can even cook out, fish, and camp...

Fuck that, no thanks.

I went out to Lonestar Gun Club this weekend.  It's a decent place to practice.  Range Officers were very professional.

I'd much rather be at ETTS, but ETTS is a 90 minute drive, vs 30 minutes to get to this new place.

I bought a one year membership.  Now I just read all this history on the Fusion range.  I sure hope the same antics don't happen at Lonestar.  I've been itching for a decent practical range that is close to home for a long while.

If they have anything to do with Fusion, I doubt I'm interested.
