Another "Rapper" (Denzel!) was shot multiple times in the rest room of a "Gentlemans club" 4:30 AM on Friday Night...

While no place is ever 101% safe, People CAN greatly help their own safety by avoiding sketchy people at sketchy places at sketchy times...

That's my beat. Glad I was not at work that night otherwise I would have had to deal with it. That club has a loooooooooooooong history of being a shit hole and it's not the first shooting there. Heck we have worked murders there before. The place changes its name every other year. It used to be called Babes Caberet, then just Babes, then it was Babeeos, and now it's Wonderland.

I don't know how today's "gentleman's clubs" stay in business. I have not been to one since my kids became of age to know what one was. At the time, they were basically fronts for prostitution and drug sales. I have been told by younger friends that they are much worse these days.

Back in the "Way Back Days" (before Cable TV & The Internet) It was a place you could see friendly good looking naked women and get a buzz on at the same time...
Rick's Cabaret in Houston catered to a large number of very respectable and wealthy clients... In fact, there was huge Political Correctness outrage when some of the Houston business community took foreign attendees at the O.T.C. (Offshore Technology Conference) - A huge trade show in the oil & gas business to Ricks for "entertainment"... These days... Pretty much yuk...
