Was wondering if any of my fellow TX ARFCOMers could help me out here; I'll be going along this route:

Hit Hwy 287 in Ft. Worth
Take 287 to Corsicana
Hit I 45 until New Waverly
Take Hwy 150 to 1725
1725 to Hwy 105, Take 105 to Cleveland
Hit Hwy 321 to Dayton, then Hwy 146 to Liberty

Any info regarding road conditions would be appreciated. Heading out early tomorrow morning.

The Bridge over the Trinity in Liberty is open right now.

Theres so many roads here you should be able to avoid any problems.

I think the only interstate closure was Ih35 in San Marcos. You could run more IH even if it took a bit longer if it made you more comfortable.

Just run IH45

TXDOT should have any current road closures listed on its website.

Followed almost that same rout yesterday. I45 from North Texas to 150 in New Waverly, 150 to 223, 223 to 787 to 105 to Beaumont. Didn't see any problems. I absolutely hate going through Cleveland that is why I take 150 all the way through Cold Spring.

I just drove down from DeSoto to south of Houston. You might have some difficulty when you get to Liberty but I drove 45 all the way down and it was clear.

I was at a conference a few days ago where the company which created that site was discussing its creation and implementation.

Cool stuff!

Teets has already told me we're going to have to leave his truck and mine at one of his friends house and take his rice buggy out to his place.

No, all I've used I Google Maps.

Even then, I don't have too much space for apps anymore. I immediately regret buying a phone without expandable memory.

Yup, was born and raised there. I live in Canyon now. Figured I'd visit the folks and not have to drive 9.5 hours in one day.

Although I'm not sure who ETH is?

He was a good friend to many on arfcom, a fine gentleman, and a prolific arfcommer.

He hosted many arfcom gatherings at the Teague farm, across from copper breaks state park.

He was laid to rest in the Crowell cemetery.

Don't remember if most or all of his pallbearer were arfcommers.
