The wife has to go out of town into Saturday meaning I'm gonna have to bow out. #DadProblems
Although I did tell her as a compromise, if the opportunity arises again, I'm camping and shes coming. |

Debating bringing my spotting scope...it isn't waterproof outside the case. And if it is overcast, the chronograph might not work too well. It has the old silver sensors..so if you use it and shoot the sensors, it is $38 per sensor and those are the new blue ones which operate under lower light conditions.

As of now, 35 s is almost dead stopped from West to just south of Ross. 933 is pretty good.
It's 2 lanes down to 340/E Industrial Blvd. Y'all coming from the north check so you don't get caught in it. |

I think a few people are bringing some. But I would pack it just in case. It might be one of those things where it's best to have too many, than not enough. I guess if worse comes to worse, we can make a ghetto out of them View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I'm bringing a screen house. Might be able to use that as shelter at the range

these thunder storms are not leaving me optimistic... View Quote The Intellicast radar map has storm tracking that seems to indicate we'd be on the southern edges of the activity, but it looks to me like maybe newer forcasts have a chunk of it headed our way. I'm generally down for it anyways, I've been packing up and shuffling things around to make it happen. Would hate to se it get canked this late in the game. |

Its dry for the most part out here. There are some very light sprinkles

Looks like the center of a big cell is heading right for San Saba. (Acuweather radar).

It looks like I am going to wimp out. The amount of rain coupled with the description of the roads makes me worry about my car getting stuck. The flash flood warning for the area isn't helping either.

Just hit llano, should be soon View Quote If y'all can keep this updated on the conditions I'd appreciate it. My estimated step-off time is around 18-1900, and about a 2 hour drive depending on gas and road conditions. I don't plan on not coming unless there's an official "wave off" from the host. |

Google mind says two and a half hours. Dallas was a downright disaster to get out of.

Couple miles out of Goldthwaite, a lot of run off along the road. Has the creek flooded yet?

Finishing weekly report, then I'm headed home to change, grab gear, head across town, swap vehicles, and get on the road!
ANY last minutes suggestions as to stuff I might need to bring, especially as far as food? |

Oh no. Weekend with my wife? Disaster. 40 more feet of soffit to hang plus trim.

I'm out, if I didn't have to work today I would be there already and now it's so late it would be 1 am by the time I would get there and I don't want to drive all that way just to turn around if it is to rainy. Sadly I'm going to sit this one out..

Damn that sucks. At least the next developing cell will blow just east of you guys.....hopefully.

Much wetter down here. Looks like the weather is getting better up there, will leave in a few hours.

Sorry you guys have run into all this rain. Just maybe ya'll will have a short window between showers to get off a few rounds. Any chance of rescheduling this event?
