More info.
Short range is 50yds with an assortment of paper and steel targets. Pistols only on the steel. Long range goes out to about 1200-1300 but we usually keep it under 1100. I set up various steel targets at various distances. I don't shoot anything bigger that 300mag at my steel. If you have steel targets you want to bring that would be awesome! If we do a night shoot you need a green chemlight to attach to yourself so we can keep track of who is on the line. Please be punctual. When we say we are about to head to a certain range, etc, don't dick around and make the rest of the guests wait on you. Everyone's safety is my main concern and I have no qualms about giving someone the boot. That's about it for now. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. |

I am thinking you are really close to my hunting grounds.
I hunt west of Mullen about five miles. I would like to come out if I can get away. |
|
|
This sounds fun. If you do it again in May, June, or July I will come and bring a bunch of fun post sample MGs and cans.
|
|
I don't have the coolest toys but, I might be able to attend Saturday morning if y'all will have me.
It's about 3 hours from Arlington, when are troops waking for playtime? |

If we can shoot 50BMG then I would up my membership. I just got a Steyr HS50 M1 to get into large caliber long range shooting, but I'm what you'd call a noob in this area. If there's gonna be some people around who can give me some pointers and help me get dialed in, I'll bring some extra ammo!

Looks like the calendar is clear and it is not spring break for the kids. So I should be good!

I always thought it was way under there myself. Thus no 50 for that and other reasons. |

Too close and too many rocks and trees in the berm. |

How about bringing some tannerite or something similar? I was thinking about putting it in 1 liter bottles and setting them out around 300 yards for the longer range shooters.

This is why we ask questions. We have shot it in that amount at 100 yards and only a few problems with debris . this one was a little larger that's why I have some cover. http://youtu.be/HB39MyxkVO8 http://youtu.be/HB39MyxkVO8 View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

If you have a 4 wheeler or SxS you can bring it.
We have to drive on the ranch to get to both ranges. We can go on a tour if anyone wants. |

I keep thinking about how cool of a pic we can have with Ben's truck.

Will need to confirm with my work schedule to see if I can take that Friday off assuming you still have space available.
I will leave the Barrett at home this year but are non-50cal beltfeds still welcome? |
