As the subject says..

My brother is looking for a range in Houston that will allow him to draw and fire from his holster.  I'm not familiar with the area, was hoping someone could give me a name or two I could tell him.

Thoughts?

Supposedly Boyert will allow it after you pass some kind of qualification they put you through.  I believe they charge for the qualification.

The Arms Room in League City used to allow it if the RSO  was comfortable with you. Haven't been there in a while so no promises.

Check with Shiloh shooting, might be closer and allow it.

Athena allows that as well, after they qualify you ($20 extra).

http://shootingsportstx.com/    They allegedly will.   Went by, they have swing up platforms to allow draw and fire I was told.

You could probably do that at Marksman Gun range in South Houston.

And to my knowledge Arms room is still open. Their FB page is still very active.
