I work near the flagship Whole Foods store in downtown Austin and go there fairly often to grab something for lunch.  Yesterday I noticed a 30.06 sign on the door, had not noticed it there before.  I wonder if it's a company-wide policy now or if the sign is the correct size (I'm not going to challenge it the hard way).  Anyway, just FYI...

I get emails from a website called texas3006.com.  They have been sending me emails about Whole foods for the last month.  It looks like it's company wide.

I'd stop there occasionally to pick a few things up, I guess not any more.

Back in my day people paid less to be safer.

We have aloways shopped at Albertson's as they are quietly Gun Friendly. We have mixed in some Kroger though since they have come out where everyone should be, Neutral.

I will not be doing any shopping at Whole Wallet Foods...  not that I did much in the past due to their high prices...  but now I will go out of my way to avoid them and make a point of recommending other stores to everyone I know.

Saw those signs at the one in San Antonio, turned around and went somewhere else.

Are those letters the legal size?

I saw one at the store in Allen (Fairview) today. It did not look like it met the size requirements for the letters and also had some other verbiage.

Meh. Wouldn't have shopped there anyways.

Me neither, only douchbag hipsters, austin street creetins and west coast washouts with lisps shop there. Its part of the cancerous liberal trendy movement that is brainwashing teenagers to build the Socialist State of EuroAmerica in the next 20 years. Pussification of our youth and britain reclaims their prize.

Sprouts in the DFW area has posted them as well in the past month or so.

That's too bad. We buy a lot of fish there since it is way better than anything from HEB. I imagine we'll still buy our fish from them, but we don't really shop there for anything else.

I'll have to check the local sprouts out by me. Haven't seen any signs yet. I'll check it out.

Every time you see one of these signs be sure to write their corporate office a polite letter telling them you won't be doing business with them in the future because of their policy.  You may also want to ask them how many letters they have gotten from people saying that they WILL be shopping there BECAUSE of the sign.  My guess is they haven't gotten any.  It points out that they are only losing customers and not gaining any because of their signs.

That is a Texas-wide policy with Sprouts.  And when they were emailed, their response was the PR-version of "Eat a bag of dicks!"

I haven't yet seen any 30.06 signs at Whole Foods around here; but I rarely go there due to prices.

The sign looks to small to meet the requirements.

They'll only care if the bottom $$ numbers on the daily intake start dropping like flies

Which is unlikely.  Even though we are approaching the point where 1 out of every 10 adult males in Texas have a CHL there are some other factors...  Not all CHL holders care enough to boycott businesses that don't respect their rights and Whole Foods customers tend to be libtards who are less likely to be CHL holders...

I used to spend a lot of money at Sprouts in Corpus...I haven't been there since they changed their policy last year.

I'm pretty much limited to HEB in Flour Bluff, wal mart, and I will hit Mad meats on NPI for beef and pork.

Unfortunately with all the negative publicity brought on by the OCT groups, I am seeing many more establishments attempting to restrict entry of CHL patrons. Although many attempts at posting are non-compliant, I am starting to have more trouble going about my daily activities without having to stop and analyze a business's posting!

I'll admit my wife and I shop at Whole Paycheck fairly often. But now with the sign, I've taken my business to the Central Market, HEB, Trader Joes, and Costco (best deals ever on organic chicken and eggs) which are all about the same distance from my house. Only reason I favored WF over Central Market is because CM is usually a packed zoo.

IF, it does pass I will bet you see a bunch of those signs come down.  Right now it's only 10% of their potential market. With passage, that number "might" increase substantially.

I went to the new Sprouts in Arlington and they're posted too. Pisses me off, I've been looking forward to that place for months. The sign is a clear sticker with black lettering on a dark tinted window, so I'm not sure if it is up to code, but it is posted.

I emailed them and they politely told me to fuck off, see you soon.

I guess I'll stick to Kroger.

Interestingly, I went to the Whole Foods in Sugar Land two nights ago because I was looking for a specific thing for my wife, and I did not see a 30.06 sign.

I got an ad from Sprouts in the mail.  Love what I see, but I still won't shop there as long as they are posted 30.06.  And I told them as much, on their Facebook.
