We here rifle fire at least a few times a month on the land/farms in our Cypress area.

Entirely possible it was gunfire. Some people have enough room to do shooting on their land around there.

Could have been gun shots. There is some open land in the area that people may hunt on. I can hear shooting from Hot Wells once in a while at Spring Cypress Barker Cypress.

When I lived there it was thugs shooting each other.

Never ever heard any gunshots here. I'm thinking it was someone having a good time over labor day weekend, trying to finish off leftover fireworks.
It was about 2230, two days before dove opened, so if it was hunting, it was for pigs. |
