I shall be there
Any reccomendations for hotels in canton? Looks like I'll likely be staying in mesquite and driving due to the significantly cheaper hotels. Are we planning on doing breakfast or anything on either of the mornings I'll likely be flying solo and want to meet a few arfcommers I've yet to meet before. |

Canton is ~80 miles for me, and I don't think I've been there this century. Might have to drive down. |

I just want an answer to one question: Will there be complimentary wet-naps at this venue?

Ed, any plans for a table at the Gun Shows in Tyler any time? That is an excellent idea! Canton has a gun show. I'd love to see a monthly gunshow and prepper market. TRG I haven't been to a Canton show. How does it compare to Tyler's? |

Ed, any plans for a table at the Gun Shows in Tyler any time? View Quote Hey Dan- no plans for gun shows at this time... originally we were going to do the show circuit, but there's just too much of the same stuff everywhere there. We'd be just another table at another gun show. Besides, we're selling to a number of local dealers who sell at the shows, so we're respecting their "space." We also wanted to make sure whatever we did had at least a little bit of a coolness factor to it, as it is an opportunity for us to showcase products vs. just sell more stocks and grips... We wanted it to be more of a destination than a general store, with stuff going on each month: here we can demo night vision, hold classes, and have a place for folks to hang out if we want. Lastly, we're big on not wasting energy, and setting up and tearing down for shows is a lot of work! |

These will be at store first, then they'll make their way to the online store... in fact we won't even see first prototypes until the opening of the store next week. Waiting to see quality, determine final details, etc. before we get final pricing, but I'm guessing they're going to be ~$300 for a set ($400msrp)? For those attending the opening, we will sell both of the prototype sets as well. Any other orders we can take and ship. |

Yes We is I may need to go to Canton for the trade days. Any good hotel (budget) suggestions? |

Will there be a representative or maybe some classes for night vision newbies? Had a PVS14 for a year now, but still not sure how to get optimum use out it. The night vision forums are nice, but I learn better in person. Be nice to talk to some experts about filters, helmet set ups, camera adapters, etc.

Tempting, but saddened there'll be no firearm purchasing. Or that's a good thing...
Open a real store! |
|
Lots of support from the fan base here, but be prepared for some resistance from the Dallas area Mom's Demand Action types. Antiques, crafts, and pentrist type stuff is cool for them, but they will get huffy about firearms and anything related.
The folks that own Canton own the trades days in McKinney. Since the change over there are NO firearms for sale anywhere on the grounds anymore. While the managers of the trades days support you, be prepared for some resistance from the people that attend the shows. FWIW. |
