I just now spotted this thread or else I might have made it. Haven't been to canton in years. I remember some good selections of mil surplus items...along with the usual junk. Anyone spot any stuff like hand forged hatchets and knives?

View Quote I didn't even bother walking down to the slums I stayed on the hill in air conditioned comfort Actually, I plan to return in the fall and walk around the place. I went to many trade days back in Alabama as a kid. So, I have an idea and am in no hurry. |

I could not make it out this weekend, I hope y'all had a great time!

We want to thank all of those that made it out this weekend. We put a lot of time into the place over the last few weeks, and while it is a work in progress, we got a lot of great feedback from everyone. It can only get better from here, so continue to let us know about the good and the bad.
Special thanks to our resident tour guide, T(G)RG and to those that make a long trek to stop by. I believe the longest distance travelled was won by the representative from Virginia, but we had Illinois, OK, LA, and several from San Antonio and beyond in Texas. Congrats to those that completed the scavenger hunt- we will draw and notify the winner tomorrow, after we get some rest... Once again thanks to all- it was a pleasure meeting everyone and seeing old friends again. Thanks for making us feel welcome, as we are glad to be in the great State of Texas! |

We walked around some of the other buildings for an hour or so and it sure made me appreciate the a/c in the building you're in. |

I told my son if we won the rifle it would be his, he asked every vendor there, we got four punches in about 20 minutes! Great visit, went to Canton once before without a reason to come back (too much kitsch). I'll come back if this grows. |

View Quote Ed, it was great to see you and the gang again. I look forward to coming back for future weekend shows. you guys have done a great job with the shop and after talking to the vendors there, they're excited for the business y'all are going to bring to the market there. I thought the scavenger hunt y'all set up was a great way to get the other tenants excited to have y'all there. I wish you guys the best of luck and I'm excited to see the updates for the next few months. an hour drive is hardly a concern for DFW residents; I look forward to coming back out and helping support ARFCOM. this place is a family to me. I hope you guys are as impressed with the turnout as we were with the shop and your new home. Welcome to Texas, hope to see y'all soon. |

Well done ARFCOM.
Cost me plenty, My son saw the full auto airsoft m4 and wanted one. So HE had a good weekend. Both my kids thought that all the guys were really nice, and had a great time. TXL |

Trade Days is again this weekend, starting Thursday July 31.
If the ARFCOMMERs want to have some sort of formal time to get together, then someone has to post a time/date to get the ball rolling. Any time we're open we're good to host if someone wants to schedule. Hours are Thu : 9-5 Fri-Sat : 8-8 Sun : 9-5 In addition to the everything we had last month, this month we will have: - BFL Glock Slide Plates - Cerakoted Billet Receiver and FF Hand Guard Sets (Sniper Gray, Burnt Bronze, and FDE) - Some women's clothing - Some beanie babies for the kids Also, Kyle and Eric from TNVC will be in the house showcasing a bunch of their products. Come say hi and check out some of their toys. Don't forget The Gun Cleaners will "ultrasonically" clean any of your guns; bring your dirty gun or clean as many times as you want and see what you're not getting out. This is a great service to perform on your guns one or twice a year wether you use them or just store them. They will come out clean and lubricated. For the scavenger hunt, this month we'll be giving away .22LR ammo. You can't buy it anywhere, but you can win it for free! So we look forward to seeing many of you again, and those that didn't get to make it out last time. |

I'll be there Saturday.
