The match was going great until a bunch of the shooting bays went down due to misdesigned drainage. Chaos ensued directly. Hopefully they rectify this before another match. Shooting in the rain is a fact of life and good training in my book. Not being able to shoot because of flooding is avoidable with good planning. |

LOL. Dude Noah's ark was there for the 30 minute deluge! That amount of rain in that short amount of time would not have been resolved with ANY amount of drainage! We shot a 7 stage match in the dark in under seven hrs even with being down for an HR for the storm.
That being said YES we have made great improvements, ALL bays are leveled, completely covered in 3+ inches of crushed stone and REAL drainage has been installed. New cattle crossings, better roads and a HUGE pavilion for meals and prize tables will all be in place prior to this match in May. We hope to see everyone there to raise money for this great charity! |
