AUSTIN — The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is recommending changes to next year’s hunting and fishing regulations. The department is seeking comment on these proposed changes to the state’s hunting and fishing regulations during a series of public hearings.

The public is encouraged to attend public meetings in their area and provide comment on proposed changes. The TPW Commission will make final rulemaking at its March 28-29 public hearing in Austin.

Let's for go our normal Tuesday dinners and all try and show our support for this cause.  I'll volunteer to coordinate here.  Please point other Houston area users to this thread.

Carpools, Letters of support, Questions etc post here.  I'd encourage a volunteer for every town.

Show up.  Tell your buddies and point them here for questions.

If you don't have a hunting license I'd encourage it.

Look here for further coordination efforts and ideas.

I'm in Nacogdoches Co. and I see we have a meeting here. However, I can't find the proposed changes. The link on the TP&W page takes me to the Texas Register rules for open meetings?

Crud - missed the McKinney meeting...   FWIW - I did fill out an electronic opinion in the TPWD feedback site listed below.  It covers suppressors,  hunting in Dallas/Collin/Rockwall counties and a few other things...
