Please take a minute to sign the petition to the Mayor and City Council to improve Koko Head Shooting Complex.  Koko Head is Oahu's only public range serving 75,000 users each year.  We are calling for rennovations, safety improvements, pavillions, classroom space, and changes to various ranges.  We are trying to get 2,000 signatures share this with your friends, family, and coworkers.  Thanks

Thanks for signing and pass the word along to your friends and family.  Anyone that supports the petition, and they don't necessarily have to use Koko Head range.

Not sure when the last improvements were done, I'd guess 30 years?  There was emergency work done a couple of years ago when the range was shut down.  The berms and ground of the rifle range were filled with sand, and an awning built over the rifle range to remind people to keep their muzzles down.

The emergency work didn't really do much as the sand on the berms and ground eroded after a few months and the awning is just a thin sheet of plastic which I feel doesn't do anything.
