Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Help understanding the Application for Resident Licenses for hunting

I have never hunted before, so I don't know the ins and outs of the hunting application. I want to get the Resident Combination License. Do I need to also buy the $1 Fishing, Hunting, Furbearer certificate? What are the effective dates for this license? Thanks.

The combination license covers all of those. It's the route I always take.

I'm pretty sure it runs April 1st, to April 1st of the following year.

Also, I believe if you were born after 1961, you need to take a Hunters Safety class.
