Well damnit neither me or the wife got a speed goat tag this year.
I drew 1 of 25 84-6 tags and I'll have a gen elk and gen deer tag. Maybe I should've waited to build the wife her goat rifle.

Elk 56-4 here, so if a decent cow wanders across the backyard between Oct 1 and Dec 21, she's dinner. Or lots of dinners, rather.
...or, I suppose I could be less lazy and walk up to the National Forest boundary. My neighbor did last October and nabbed a really nice 6x7 just on the legal side of the fence. |
