Considering a move to Idaho Falls. Would non Mormons fit in ok? How is housing, crime and out door activities?

1.Yes, but if you have kids they may have a little rougher time fitting in.
2. When I lived there 5-6 years ago housing was reasonable
3. Crime was/is low
4. Very close to a lot of really cool outdoor recreation
5. You didn't ask but weather there in the winter sucked.  Cold and windy.

Thanks Renegade. Kids grown so no problem there. Winter is something to consider for sure. Is there a lot of snow?

We got snow last night, but none stayed on the valley floor.  This was a heavy winter, but it's already gone from the valley floor for about 6 weeks now.

Housing is full retard, but it's pretty much full retard everywhere in the state from what I hear.

Mormans around here are the best people to be different than.  They'll still be friendly/friends with you.

What's crime?

Lots of outdoor activities, if you are willing to drive a bit, what do you want/like to do?


Only thing I wish we had here is more trees.  But you can drive to trees inside of a half an hour.
