My state has CWP reciprocity with Louisiana.

Not really.  For the most part, the cops are cool as long as you aren't an idiot.  Just be aware that while you can carry in a restaurant, you can't carry in a bar (even ones that serve food), which is a little tricky since pretty much every bar serves food.
