It is a process. $100 a year, have to go to Chelsea to get it done, have to take a MA LTC course.
Western MA is a far different animal than Eastern MA. The law states you need to have a LTC to have firearms, or components. But I have no doubts the cops in the Berkshires would be lenient. <----- Western MA resident.

They recently changed the policy for Non Residents here in MA,
It is still $100 per year, you need to go to Chelsea for the initial processing but then its only every 6 years you need to physically appear. It was until recently you would beed to go there every year for renewal but now you can do it by mail. |
