If you are close enough to Philly, Terror Behind the Walls at the old Eastern State Penitentiary is awesome. It's not cheap but the proceeds go to keeping the prison open as a museum. My son's school did a class trip there and it was really cool.
Anyhow, the haunted house they do is very well done and gets crowded on the weekends so go early if you do. |

Started off this month with an excursion to The Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze in Hudson Valley NY. Nothing scary, just thousands of carved pumpkins. It was very impressive. The ipotato pictures don't do it justice...

Went here last year. One of the best I've ever been to. Go early to avoid long wait. Be sure to read the rules before you go. They are not kidding about NO exceptions !
