Well, hopefully. We have 30 days to get something to the court. The court could take additional time. None of this is fast, but at least we have deadlines. Thanks for your vote! Please spread the word to your friends and family as well!

Just got the opinion in ALmeida's case. Judge dismissed it. Stating that Almeida's claim is moot since he got his permit, and Tumminelli doesn't have standing because he voluntarily withdrew his application before the original judge ruled on it. So... now we decide what to do next. I'll post up the opinion shortly.

Congratulations Nolo - and many thanks for sticking with this. Sorry about the voting results... I sent my ballot in.

Any response from "the opposition party" yet? Is it up to Judge Shipp as to whether the entire ban is redacted, or can he alone decide that possession in the home is now allowed, but not general possession (ie. carrying)? Or is it now up to the Legislature to pass an emergency bill that includes stun guns in the definition of "handgun"?

Practically speaking, what does the order mean for NJ citizens? We can now legally purchase, own, and carry stun guns?

I assume they will try to classify stun guns as pistols ASAP.
