This is what I've got laying around:

"Stirling" (made by Armscor) .22LR

Gamo 440 (they are registered as firearms down here )

Hopefully going to a add a SMLE and maybe a shotgun, as well as some pistols to that soon.

Here's an old one showing three of my very favourite weapons:

The M4, the AC130 (althouigh that is a bit of a three-in-one all on its own) and a special "torch" for attracting help from passing aircraft...

and two more that show the night torch in use

And another few I found - not many firearms but I thought I should point out that these works cars get better and better!

We've had nothing but bad experience with our Range Rovers and are now in the process of swapping them for other types..

That's such a shame - I ather that Range Rovers were bad when they started back in the 70s but my limited experince of them in the 90s was that reliability had been sorted. These are Discoveries and are very comfortable and surprisingly quick even when fairly laden - but real shockers on fuel - even being diesel didn't help that much - just glad the Shell card was there to take the strain.

Still better than green fleet by at least eleventy million times!

Sadly our diesel Disco is the worst. Unreliable, piece of crap. The Rangies, petrol, are nice when they work, but that is never for long. They travel more miles going to and from workshops (not infrequently on a low loader) than they do on patrol.

Our marked fleet is going to diesel Shoguns and BMW X5's (these latter are already in service) and we will also have some other unmarked stuff.

Certainly be an improvement on the range Rovers. The only reliable product Land Rover ever built was/is the Defender series, but even that is built for Quasimodo..

the latest addition to the collection.

1945 Australian Lithgow SMLE MkIII .22 Trainer unissued war stock (and still not as rare as the SGC 9mm unicorn Carbine).

Nice - for a wooden gun!

I was tempted by one of the No4 MkII's at the Phoenix that were unissued and still in the cosmoline.

Shoguns sound good but I've heard bad things about the gearbox on X5s - might have just been a duff one or a dreadful driver.

The diesel Disco 3s that I've come across have all been 100% - maybe it's the drivers

It has been said before that we are a little rough on them

Still, I don't accept the Land Rover dealer bleating that they aren't meant to be driven a lot..............Paris-Dakaar my a%*e!

You all seem to be closet wooden gun lovers.  And to think of all the times I had to put up with shouts of 'burn it' when I was on the point my with No4.

Maybe we should have a wooden gun only CSR meet one day.  Go old school!!!

Actually I think that SMLE trainer would look better with a quad rail fore-end

Now this is a real Enfield

What year is your Martini Henry dated? I will be looking for a shootable one in the near future to go with its older, larger brother-in-arms, my Snider Enfield Mk I (a 1867 conversion).
