Hello everyone I live in the US and I'm about to buy some stuff from Germany and was wondering if Americans have to pay vat tax or if I can save myself 61€. Thanks in advance.

19% sales tax, but not applicable if delievery goes outside the EU.

You are responsible for import, so US customs will probably hit you up with tax & tarrif. That will be far from 19% though...
