I got my NM tax refund VERY quickly! We saw our tax guy on Friday, got our refund on Monday AM.

It's probably a good idea to file early. There have been rumors of some people having to wait for some of their money, especially for Earned Income Credit. Also, my tax genius says that the IRS is going to be very diligent about matching W2 forms with employers; evidently there's been a lot of scams going on and the Infernal Revinue Service is cracking down.

Don't ever try to cheat the government: Uncle Samwise doesn't like competition.
