I'll be in Las Cruces in March and April working, where are good places to shoot?  Any places you can shoot long range?  Anything that is a must do while there?  Also any hassles having silencers?

No specifics on LC, except that if you've never been there you should be aware that you'll be going through border patrol check points going in and out of LC

Butterfield range to the west of town on I-10 is the best and only place worth going.  Absolutely free, tons of space, ranges from 0 to 1k yards
