Are there any for APD or BCSO as far as the color their gear has to be?
Also, does the Agency pay for your gear? And can you choose anything you want, lets say as far as what plate carrier or what brand rifle you can carry?

I heard APD no longer allows personal weapons for duty use. Since the DOJ scrutiny.
Not 100% sure, I'm not an LEO.
